Nominations for the Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Event of the Year Awards opened on 1 October 2018!

The Australia Day Celebrations will be held at Clayton Farm, Bordertown on 26 January 2019 and nominations are being called for:

  • Citizen of the Year
  • Young Citizen of the Year (aged under 30 years on 26/1/2019
  • Community Event of the Year

The aim of the awards is to recognise outstanding contributions to the local communities within the past year or over a period of years. Nomination forms can be obtained from either the Bordertown or Keith Council Offices or by clicking on the form below.  Nominations can also be made on line directly at http://www.citizenoftheyear.com.au/

Please remember that awards are for individuals only and nominations for couples will not be considered.  If a couple are deemed worthy of nominating, please nominate them separately.  Nominations must be accompanied by suitable details to assist the judging panel.  

Nominations close Friday 16 November 2018.
